Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok will host a decadent
afternoon affair with one of the worlds hottest fashion
designers, Rubin Singer, in collaboration with Citibank, N.A.
Rubin Singer will present his Serpent Queen collection in person
at a Charity Afternoon Tea Fashion Show in the lobby of the Hotel
on Wednesday, 7 May 2014.
One of Hollywoods favorite couturiers, New
York-based Rubin Singers dresses are worn by many of the best
known and best-dressed celebrities around, including Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Glenn Close, Kate Beckinsale and Leah Michelle.
Aptly called The Serpent Queen, the Spring 14 collection, which
in Rubins words is, seductively dangerous, has been inspired by
the great Pharaoh Queens of ancient Egypt: Hatshepsut, Nefertiti
and Cleopatra as well as the Egyptian Cobra Goddess Uatchit. The
stunning creations are sure to dazzle, and for those wishing to
own their very own Rubin Singer piece of couture, Rubin will be
available on the day for consultations.
The afternoon tea
will also feature new creations prepared by Pastry Chef Stephane
Calvet, coupled with a glass of Louis Roederer Champagne and a
selection of Dilmah Private Reserve Teas.
Priced at Baht 1,500 per
person, subject to government tax and service charge, the event
will take place between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm, with the Rubin Singer fashion show starting at 3:30 pm.
A portion of the proceeds of the
charity fashion show will be donated to the Community Children
Fund Foundation in Thailand under the Royal Patronage of HRH
Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. CCF promotes child development
programmes for disadvantaged children as well as promoting child
protection and child rights.
