TripAdvisor’s Top 10 Beaches in Asia; Beaches in Philippines Rank No. 1, 4 and 6

TripAdvisor has named the winners of its Travellers’ Choice awards for Beaches.

In its second year, the awards recognise more than 322 beaches globally, including top lists for Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, South America, the South Pacific, and the U.S..

On average, Travellers’ Choice Beaches on the World list have seen a 166% increase year-on-year in share of international search traffic on TripAdvisor for the one month period between 20 January - 19 February.

“For those planning their next holiday destination by the sand and sea, these award-winning beaches serve as inspiration,” said Barbara Messing, chief marketing officer for TripAdvisor. “Just looking at the photos will take you away for a moment, until you can plan a trip.”

Travellers’ Choice Beaches Award-winners were determined based on the quality and quantity of traveller reviews and ratings for beaches on TripAdvisor gathered over a 12-month period.
