Located on the east bank of Inle Lake,
this newly-built resort hotel features 122 guestrooms, of which
120 are Junior Suites and Lake Villas, with two Presidential

The villas are set on a
lake, each with its own separate bedroom and living area.
The resort also offers a wide selection of F&B
venues. The Terrace Restaurant serves a variety of Asian and
international specialties while the Sunset Restaurant offers a la
carte menu with a walk-in wine cellar and overlooks the lake where
guests can enjoy a perfect evening sunset across the skyline.
The Pool Bar and the Sunset Bar are ideal places
to relax and unwind while enjoying a selection of beverages and
light snacks.
Other facility highlights include an outdoor pool,
fitness centre and spa facility.
Mr Alain Miquel, General
Manager of Novotel Inle Lake Myat Min, said, “Inle Lake is a unique
destination in Myanmar that travellers should not miss. Its
natural sanctuary is one of eco-tourism’s most popular
destinations in the region. Novotel Inle Lake Myat Min recognizes
the importance of biodiversity and unique natural resources, and
therefore integrated Accor’s Planet 21 sustainability programme in
the resort’s operational procedures and also introduces one of the
country’s most sophisticated waste water treatment systems at the
resort.”
Inle Lake is the
country’s second largest freshwater lake located in the Nyaungshwe
Township in Shan State. The people of the Inle Lake, called Intha
come from a mixture of ethnicities living in four cities bordering
the lake. As the lake is covered by reeds and floating plants,
local fishermen are known for their distinctive rowing style which
involves them standing at the stem on one leg to see their path
and an oar wrapping around another leg to row. Although the most
popular mode of transportation to the resort is by boat, the
resort is also accessible by road.
