Joana Yap has been appointed General Manager of
Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) Singapore, effective 1 August 2013.
Joana will be taking over the role from Greg James, who will be
retiring at the end of July following nine successful years with
the company.
Joana has
been a key member of the HRG team in Asia Pacific. Starting her
career at HRG in 2007 as the Head of Client Services, she focused
primarily on client relationships and service delivery. Her major
accomplishments include the development of a service improvement
program and steering the company's in-house training aimed at
reinforcing HRG's key values and service culture.
In April
2010, Joana was promoted to Head of Service Quality and later in
the year she also assumed responsibility for leading HRG's 'above
market' approach, which entailed consolidating, automating and
streamlining the company's operations in the region.
Joana
said, "I am honoured to be appointed General Manager of HRG
Singapore. This is a wonderful opportunity to spearhead a talented
team and I look forward to expanding HRG's impressive portfolio of
clients. I am confident that my knowledge and expertise will
benefit our team here as we continue to deliver a seamless service
experience to our clients and create new opportunities."
Joana will officially assume her new role on 1 August 2013
following a transition period during the next few months.
