Centara Opens New Hotel in Bangkok

Centara has expanded its portfolio of hotels in Thailand, with the opening of the Centara Watergate Pavillion Hotel Bangkok.

Located in the city’s Pratunam fashion and garment district and integral to the Watergate Pavillion Fashion Mall, the four-star 281-room hotel is the fourth to be opened in Bangkok by Thailand-based Centara Hotels & Resorts.

“We are in the heart of Pratunam, and ideally placed for shoppers and business people in the fashion sector, and also for visitors to the entire Rajaprasong shopping district,” said Wim NM Fagel, the hotel’s general manager. “The station for the Airport Express rail link to Suvarnabhumi International Airport is a five-minute walk from the hotel, and for those visiting Bangkok for medical reasons, leading institutes such as Bumrungrad Hospital, Bangkok Hospital and Pyathai Hospital are all close by.”

F&B outlets at the hotel currently include Café 9, an all-day restaurant, while Chili Hip, on the 20th floor and WALK on the rooftop are expected to open in the coming weeks.

The hotel also features meeting rooms, a spa, fitness centre, and an outdoor relaxation area on the 9th floor that offers comfortable sun loungers.
