Air China will launch flights between Wuhan and
Chiang Mai on 10 December 2013. The twice-weekly flight CA705/6
will operate on Tuesday and Friday.
Located in Thailand's northern mountainous
region, Chiang Mai is Thailand's second-largest city, and also
northern Thailand's political, economic and cultural center.
Though second only to
the nation's capital city of Bangkok in terms of modernity, this
"Rose of Northern Thailand", as it's often called, oozes unique
charms not found in bustling Bangkok.
After the introduction of Air
China's Beijing-Chiang Mai service on 7 November, the Wuhan-Chiang
Mai service will further expand the carrier's Southeast Asian
schedule and will allow passengers, especially those from east China, to
make the transfer to Chiang Mai via Wuhan instead of via Beijing.
