Singapore Airlines is to add a third daily
flight to Tokyo’s Haneda Airport in March, lifting to five the
number of daily services to the Japanese capital, including two to
Narita Airport.
Flight timings for existing Haneda
services will also be revised.
The third daily Haneda service is being
introduced with effect from 30 March 2014 with Airbus A330-300
aircraft, adding nearly 2,000 seats per week on the route.
Flight SQ632 will depart Singapore at 08:00 and
arrive in Haneda at 16:00.
The new SQ633 return flight will depart Haneda
at 17:05 and arrive in Singapore at 23:05.
The existing SQ633 flight will be renumbered to
SQ635.
Existing flight timings will also be
revised to enable customers to connect to domestic flights or to
access public transportation more conveniently.
With the new service, Singapore Airlines will
operate a total of 63 flights per week to Japan. In addition to
Tokyo, the airline operates daily to both Fukuoka and Nagoya, and
twice-daily to Osaka.
