JAL has confirmed it will increase flight
frequency on its Tokyo (Narita) - New York (JFK) route from 7
weekly round trip flights to 14 weekly round trip flights,
starting 30 March 2014.
The second daily flight from Tokyo
(Narita) to New York (JFK) will depart Narita in the evening, and
the return flight from New York will depart in the morning to
provide customers with more travel options and convenience.
The new service will also offer
improved accessibility to and from South America, where demand for
air travel is robustly growing. JAL's newest service will also
significantly shorten transit times via New York for customers
traveling to/from South America.
Accessibility to
and from cities throughout Asia via Tokyo (Narita) will also
greatly improve with the number of same-day connections increasing
from six cities to 12 cities.
Transit times at Tokyo (Narita)
will also be further improved for passengers connecting from Asia
to North America.
