FCS Unicorn, a universal interface and
billing system from FCS Computer Systems, is now compliant with
key communications solutions from Avaya, a global provider of
business collaboration and communication solutions.
FCS Unicorn
provides both onsite and hosted high-end billing systems for
large-scale hotels, integrated resorts or multi-property
operations.
FCS Unicorn’s ability to interface with many different
property management systems and other hotel applications
simplifies billing and system integration for complex hospitality
implementations.
The application is now compliance-tested by
Avaya for compatibility with: Avaya Communication Server 1000
(Avaya CS 1000) 7.5, in addition to previously announced
compliance with Avaya Aura Communication Manager 6.2.
“FCS Unicorn improves operational efficiencies for our
hotel customers and benefits hoteliers who want the convenience of
a cloud-enabled solution with comprehensive billing capabilities
for multiple systems via one interface,” said Tom Dillon, CEO of
FCS. “Whether it is a large scale integrated resort, a chain hotel
or a boutique hotel, hoteliers can now incorporate new
technologies into their Avaya communications infrastructures
confidently, cost effectively and with ease.”
FCS
is a Technology Partner in the Avaya DevConnect program - an
initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party
products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the
value of a company’s investment in its network.
As
a Technology Partner, FCS is eligible to submit products for
compliance testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test
Lab. There, a team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive
test plan for each application to verify whether it is Avaya
compatible. Doing so enables businesses to confidently add
best-in-class capabilities to their network without having to
replace their existing infrastructure - speeding deployment of new
applications and reducing both network complexity and
implementation costs.
“Development partners like
FCS are helping Avaya reach new markets,” said Eric Rossman, vice
president, developer relations, Avaya. “Working with FCS gives us
a window into additional technology development, and opens new
doors of opportunity for us to explore.”
