eRevMax Promotes Prashant Menon to Vice President of Sales - AP

eRevMax, an hotel distribution, rate shopping and channel connectivity solutions provider, has promoted travel technology veteran Prashant Menon to Vice President - Sales, Asia Pacific.

Prashant will be responsible for meeting increased demand in the AP region, and developing industry partnerships.

Besides leading the regional sales team, Prashant will focus on actively engaging with chains and independent hotel companies employing a consultative approach to help them maximize returns from online bookings and their electronic distribution initiatives.

Prashant’s focus will be to expand the footprint of eRevMax’s solutions and services including RateTiger, SimpleDistribution and Connect particularly into Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Malaysia as well as open the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Greg Berman, Chief Operating Officer, eRevMax said, “Online travel bookings in Asia Pacific has been growing at five times the growth rates of Europe and the United States since 2011 and this should continue over the next five years. This is a great opportunity for Prashant to lead this region – his strategic business approach will help the team cater to the needs of APAC hoteliers while further opening new markets for us for RateTiger and SimpleDistribution brands.”

Prashant has been with eRevMax for 18 months and has a deep understanding of the online distribution space. With over 14 years of extensive experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge to this position, moving from his earlier role as Regional Director of Sales.

Prashant, who is based in Bangalore, has previously worked with Air India, Siemens and TRX in leadership roles and has gained valuable industry experience across his career.
