The return flight, MI151 departs Yogyakarta at 11:00, and is scheduled to reach Singapore at 14:25 (all times local).

Yogyakarta will be the 45th destination in SilkAirs network, extending the airlines reach to 12 destinations in Indonesia. SilkAirs other Indonesian destinations include Balikpapan, Bandung, Lombok, Makassar, Manado, Medan, Palembang, Pekanbaru, Semarang, Solo, and Surabaya.

Gateway to the famous Borobudur Buddhist Temple and Prambanan Hindu Temple in Central Java - both Unesco World Heritage sites - Yogyakarta is the hub of classical Javanese fine art and culture, renowned for its puppetry, batik and poetry. A city steeped in history and tradition, it was the seat of the ancient Mataram Empire in the 18th and 19th century. Yogyakarta is blessed with natural wonders and rich Javanese heritage, and is the second most visited Indonesian destination after Bali.

With this latest launch, SilkAirs frequencies to Indonesia will now increase to 70 flights weekly.
