Senior Appointments at STR

STR, a provider of census, performance and pipeline databases to the hotel industry, has made the following appointments:

Brad Garner has assumed the role of senior VP, client relationships - a position created to empower Garner in further building multi-level, proactive relationships with STR’s client base. Garner, who was the company’s COO for the past two years, previously served 15 years in various client service roles at STR.

Bobby Bowers, senior VP, operations, and Chad Church, VP, operations, will continue in their roles of managing client relationships.

STR has also hired Jennifer Weinberg as director of client services. Weinberg comes to STR from Loews Hotel Vanderbilt and has over 14 years of hotel operations and revenue management experience.

Angela Keen and Karrie Keen have been moved into senior client account manager positions.

“I am very excited about this transition because it will allow us to emphasize that our commitment to the clients continues to be our top priority,” said Amanda Hite, STR’s president, who has also assumed the COO title as part of the restructuring. “Brad has been an important part of reshaping STR’s culture and adding a number of IT layers that are of the utmost importance for maintaining a secure reporting environment for STR and its clients. This is another chapter for him to help our talented executive and employee teams take our business to the next level.”
