Dorsett Tsuen Wan Appoints GM and DOSM

Eric Cheng has been appointed as General Manager of the Dorsett Tsuen Wan.

Eric has a wealth of experience, built up over the 25 years he has worked in the hospitality industry. Eric is presently the General Manager for Silka Far East, Hong Kong and will take on a dual-role as General Manager for Dorsett Tsuen Wan as well.

In this role, Eric will assume the day-to-day leadership of the soon-to-open hotel and oversees the overall operations of Dorsett Tsuen Wan, a midscale 4-star hotel with 547 rooms and suites.

Throughout his hospitality career, Eric has worked at The Majestic Hotel and Century Hotel, both in Hong Kong prior to joining the group.

Assisting Eric is Henry Tse, who has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing.

Like Eric, Henry will assume a dual role in his function for Dorsett Tsuen Wan and Silka Far East Hotel, Hong Kong.

Henry began his career in 1994 and has worked in various departments holding senior positions with various reputable hotels in Hong Kong.

An accomplished hospitality professional with well over 25 years of experience, in particular sales and marketing, Henry joined the group as Director of Sales for Silka Far East, Hong Kong in 2007 and was promoted to Director of Sales & Marketing in 2011.

Scheduled to open Q1 2014, the 547-room Dorsett Tsuen Wan is located with easy access to Hong Kong’s major shopping and dining hubs in Tsim Sha Tsui and Mong Kok.

Facilities include outdoor swimming pool, meeting facilities of varying capacities, restaurant and bar; and complimentary in-room WiFi to name a few.
