Mandarin Oriental, Washington D.C. has opened The
Jefferson Suite.
Named after the memorial just outside its
windows, The Jefferson Suite encompasses 1,900 square feet of the
hotel's fourth-floor. The opulent two-bedroom, corner suite boasts
a full kitchen, dining room, sitting area and den.
Guests can
settle into the suite’s comfortable living areas, all while
enjoying views of the Tidal Basin, the Washington Marina, Martin
Luther King Memorial, and well beyond to the Pentagon and
Arlington.
The
windows in the suite frame the Jefferson Memorial like a
picture-perfect portrait, and the soothing palette of taupe, brown and
neutral tones is accented by subtle Asian touches that reflect the
hotel's oriental heritage.
Exclusively available to guests staying in the rooms and suites, the Tai Pan Club,
on the hotel’s eighth floor, now features a host
of new services, including expanded gourmet culinary
offerings, secure access, private concierge service and expedited
check-in/check-out options.
“The Tai Pan experience has been refined to
reflect our guest preferences,” said General Manager, Adriaan
Radder. “Frequent Tai Pan patrons, as well as our first-time
guests, will find exciting enhancements to our services as a
result. The culinary offering alone will entice guests to add the
Tai Pan experience to their next stay at Mandarin Oriental,
Washington D.C.”
Rates for the Tai Pan Club experience begin at
US$ 395, and provide guests with different amenities.
