Anantara Vacation Club, a shared ownership
concept launched in 2010, has opened its newly renovated boutique
resort in Seminyak, Bali’s charming resort district.
Anantara
Vacation Club Bali, Seminyak offers Club Owners a home away from
home with 18 completely refurbished private pool villas along with
redesigned amenities and facilities that are inspired by the
island’s rich artistic, spiritual and rural traditions.
“Welcome to our new hideaway on the Island of
the Gods,” said
Harold Derrah, CEO of Anantara Vacation Club.
“We’ve redesigned the resort to reflect Bali’s cherished culture
and traditions while delivering a distinct Anantara experience for our guests.”
Located just 25 minutes from
Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport, Anantara Vacation Club
Bali, Seminyak is a luxury boutique villa development offering 18
one, two and three-bedroom pool villas that have been
transformed into contemporary Balinese retreats complete with
private pools and sun decks, en-suite bathrooms with outdoor
rainfall showers, king-size beds and a separate living area with a
fully-equipped kitchen.
Each villa has been outfitted with the
latest technology to accommodate modern lifestyles, including
bedrooms and living rooms with 32” LCD monitors and DVD payer,
iPod dock, and complimentary WiFi with high-speed internet
service.
Ranging in size from 150 –
260 square meters, the villas feature modern open-air pavilions that have been cleverly outfitted with sliding glass and Bangkirai
wood doors sourced from local managed forests.
Thoughtful new
accents embrace Bali’s rich culture, such as solid wood furniture
embellished with traditional Indonesian design elements, and
carved wood panels created by Balinese artists. Contemporary
elements accommodate today’s modern travelers, such as convenient
pullout sofa beds for children or adults.
A new
swimming pool exclusively for guests has been added to the grounds
surrounded by inviting day beds and conveniently located adjacent
to The Club Deli. The 7 x 16-meter pool features a curved wet edge
with water feature accents crafted from local palamanan stone.
Next to the lobby, a quiet library has been created with a
complimentary computer terminal and internet access for reading
and working. A new state-of-the-art Fitness Centre features cardio machines, free weights, advanced strength machines and quiet areas
for stretching or Yoga. Finally, guests can even enjoy a new
complimentary self-service laundry facility.
New dining options include The Club Deli, an
all-day dining pavilion overlooking the hotel pool. Offering both
seated and to go
service, The Club Deli serves up authentic Indonesian flavors and
Western favourites along with a well-stocked wine shop. For
something a little more intimate, guests can enjoy Dining by
Design, a customized experience in the privacy of their villa with
a personal chef to create a romantic, outdoor barbecue dinner.
More adventurous types seeking an authentic experience will enjoy
personalized cooking classes in a Villa where the resort’s chef
will teach Balinese or Indonesian favorites.
Other
guest facilities include a concierge service offering booking for
island excursions, complimentary bicycles for exploring the local
area, child care services and an Anantara Spa with three treatment
rooms.
