Helen Logas, the founder and former CEO of
Luxperience, has promoted Lindy Andrews from Director of Sales and
Partner Alliances to CEO effective 1 October 2013.
Logas will take
a self-appointed background role. Logas said she wants to grow
Luxperience by at least 50% in 2014. Ms Andrews will lead that
endeavour for the B2B luxury and experiential travel show which
attracted 148 exhibitor companies and over 300 buyers in Sydney
from 2-4 September.
"Lindy has a proven track record in generating
business results," said Logas. "She played a key role in the major
success of Luxperience 2013. She is the right person to
consolidate our achievement and grow the brand."
Before
joining Luxperience in April this year, Andrews helped generate
record revenues at Novotel Manly in Sydney and the Panthers Group
of venues. She took her first agency's annual turnover from
$700,000 to $10 million in eight years.
Andrews said, "Strategic partnerships and building
awareness will be key priorities as we expand Luxperience. We will retain the intimacy of high quality B2B buyer-seller interactions
which were a hallmark of a very productive Luxperience this year."
In another move, Eric Lewanavanua has been promoted from
Sales Manager to Director of Sales and Partner Alliances at Luxperience.
With the new restructure, Lewanavanua will be
responsible for driving overall sales and the negotiation and
development of strategic partnerships with stakeholders from both
travel and non-travel segments.
Early bird registrations
for Luxperience 2014 close on 29 November 2013.
Luxperience 2014 will take place 31 August to
3 September 2014 on the Sydney Harbour waterfront.
