Taj Palace Hotel Dubai Begins Soft Refurbishment

The Taj Palace Hotel Dubai commenced a soft refurbishment of its facilities.

Guests will soon be able to discover the ‘new look’ across the hotel’s rooms, suites, apartments and public spaces including the lobby and the Taj Club Lounge.

Tempting diners are new menus at all its popular restaurants as well as in rooms. The hotel has also rebranded one of its existing restaurants as an authentic Arabic restaurant ‘Al Waha’. A key attraction at the restaurant that has already begun operation is a large fish tank featuring a variety of local and exotic seafood delights. Guests can choose from lobsters, crabs, hammour fish and big shrimps that can be cooked according to their preferred taste or in signature Taj style.

Mr. Ahmed Badawy, Owner’s Representative and Director of Finance, Taj Palace Hotel Dubai, said, “We have always maintained a high standard in terms of product, service and décor and believe it’s time for an upgrade in order to enhance our facilities. The main objective behind this refurbishment is to spruce up the hotel from top to bottom including all rooms, apartments, restaurants as well as business and leisure facilities ... there will be no inconvenience or disturbance to our guests during the upgrade since there is no construction involved. Our focus is mainly on improvement of aesthetics and general facilities.”

Mr. Badawy says he is confident that the refurbishment will reap rich dividends for the hotel by boosting RevPAR. He stressed, “Research demonstrates that brands that invest in enhancing their customer experience always maintain and gain greater market share. A lot of our guests are already noticing the changes and are happy to see the revitalization of the hotel.”
