The cabin mock-up of the new Learjet 75 aircraft
will make its Mexican debut in Toluca, Mexico from 18-27 April
2013.
Launched in May 2012, alongside the new Learjet 70 aircraft,
the Learjet 75 aircraft is due to enter service later this year
and builds on Learjet strengths and successes while
leveraging certain Learjet 85 aircraft technology.
The Learjet 75
aircraft mock-up will be on display during the 10th edition of
Aero Expo in Toluca, Mexico, from 18-20 April 2013, and for an
extended display period in Toluca at Assertec's hangar facilities
from 20-27 April 2013.
"The Learjet 75 aircraft represents the
combination of Learjet heritage, technology and design innovations
Bombardier is known for," said Saul Arceo, Sales Director, Mexico
and Central America, Bombardier Business Aircraft. "Learjet is
already a leader in Mexico and this new aircraft, featuring the
Bombardier Vision Flight Deck, a new interior and superior performance, will take its leadership even further. Bombardier,
with the broadest product portfolio in the industry, is committed
to offering Mexican customers the best product to fulfill their
travel needs."
The aircraft will have
enhanced performance through an engine thrust increase with an
improved Honeywell engine, offering improved takeoff field length
performance over its predecessor. The new systems will also
contribute to weight savings gain and the new canted winglets will
improve aerodynamic efficiency. Overall, Bombardier says up to a
9%improvement in field performance under hot and high conditions
and up to a 4% improvement in fuel efficiency are
expected.
