Wyndham Opens Hotel in Costa Rica

The newly constructed 111-room Wyndham Garden San José Escazú in Costa Rica, has opened for business.

The hotel, owned by Rocca Portafolio Comercial and operated by Desarrollos Hoteleros, becomes the third Wyndham Hotel Group property in Costa Rica, joining TRYP by Wyndham San José Sabana, which opened in the capital city in November 2011, and the Ramada Plaza San José Herradura.

Situated in an upscale suburb of San José, Costa Rica’s largest city, Wyndham Garden San José Escazú is just 20 minutes from Juan Santa Maria International Airport. The convenient location is walking distance from Avenida Escazú and puts guests in close proximity to the country’s top sights, such as La Sabana Metropolitan Park, famed volcanoes and Pacific beaches.

Guest rooms and suites feature complimentary high-speed wireless internet access, 37-inch LED flat screen televisions, coffee makers and electronic safes.

The hotel also offers designated floors for women with female-friendly amenities, 24-hour room service and free shuttle service to nearby shopping centers and business parks.

Additional services include a 24-hour business center, on-site market and a state-of-the art fitness center with a 65-foot indoor heated lap pool and Jacuzzi. The hotel’s full-service restaurant, El Cortijo, serves international cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Guests can also enjoy a cocktail or dinner at the hotel’s Provenza Lounge and its outdoor terrace.
