Ed Linsley has been appointed as General
Manager of the Ayana Resort and Spa Bali.
Mr. Linsley, a veteran industry leader
with more than 22 years’ experience in hotels and resorts – 21 of
which were with Four Seasons Hotels –was previously Resort Manager
of Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay, before moving to
Vietnam last year as General Manager of The Nam Hai Resort.
“I missed the soul of Bali and the people, but
it was really the Capella name which prompted me to leave Vietnam
earlier than I had envisaged. It was what the Capella Hotel Group
represents, the respect for the local people and the community – which is a very important element in my life – the culture of the
company and their business ethics,” said Mr Linsley, a Pennsylvania native with a strong background in food and beverage
management.
A
member of the World Affairs Council, Mr Linsley is passionate
about community welfare and devotes much of his personal time to
helping those less fortunate.
An outdoors enthusiast, his interests include
collecting art, travel, photography, cooking and sailing.
