Unveiling] Ratchadamri’s contribution to an
ever-evolving Bangkok skyline, will soon be home to a new
mixed-use development that is aiming to redefine the concept of
luxurious city living in this vibrant city.
Comprising residences - Magnolias Ratchadamri
Boulevard, and a 5-star hotel - the
Waldorf Astoria Bangkok, the
project is being developed by Magnolia Finest Corporation Limited,
with a project value of 5 billion Baht for the residence alone.
Construction is scheduled for completion in mid-2015.
Thanawan Chaiwatana, Managing Director, Magnolia
Finest Corporation, said, “Our vision is to be a perpetual global
organisation that fosters community and benefits society and the
country as a whole. We are focused on developing projects which
consolidate Thai society towards sustainability according to the
philosophical guidelines of organisation. Therefore, Magnolias
Ratchadamri Boulevard is to be developed to global standards of
next-generation living, both in terms of technology and design.”
Iconic Design and
Architecture for Sustainability
Magnolias Ratchadamri Boulevard has been
carefully sculpted to introduce two layers of a three-dimensional
architectural ‘petal’ that spirals along the tower’s full height
and the podium’s full length, as if springing up from the ground
like a Magnolia flower to reveal the inner life of the building.
The ‘petal’ gives the build a dramatic
profile at the heart of the Bangkok skyline whilst providing a set
of very special features to house the diverse functions in the
building complex, and to protect the occupants from the
environment in an intelligently strategic way.
From the outset, the building has been designed
to meet the latest in Green considerations and fully comply with
both the Thai 2009 Green Building Code and the Leadership in
Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification of the US
Green Building Council.
“Beyond the magnificence of the property itself,
there is an active intelligence at work behind the scenes,
creating simple concessions to enjoyable life within the
residences, whilst also saving on energy, water and environmental
impact,” said Thanawan. “Thanks to our research and development
team who have dedicated to meeting International benchmarks for
global standards of urban living from USA, Europe, Japan and
Scandinavian countries, Magnolias Ratchadamri Boulevard will
deliver true sustainability to our customers. This is the home of
the future; an apartment that manages itself and does the bidding
of its inhabitants.”
Service and Facilities
On more than 6 rai of land, Magnolias
Ratchadamri Boulevard residences will comprise 316 units, which
range in size from 48 square metres (1-bedroom) to an average 80
square meters (2-bedroom), and the larger penthouses and duplex
penthouses of between 250 to 360 square metres.
Luxury features of the residences include The
Magnolia Ratchadamri Boulevard Residences Lounge, an exclusive and
private club for the use of residents only, plus a residential
lobby, drop-off area and concierge.
Additionally, a curved garden-view library
will benefit residents seeking peace and seclusion, and the
Jogging track with slope garden and 70 metre pool with Jacuzzi and
kid’s pool will serve those looking to maximise their use of
well-planned outdoor spaces.
Additionally, there will be 353 covered car park
spaces and valet parking.
“We have received very good feedback during the
pre-sales period from our target customers, including local and
international business owners, investors and those looking to buy
as a second home in Bangkok’s CBD. Thanks to the location and our
dedication to developing the project to answer demands of these
very specific sets of customers, the building fulfils its brief as
a genuinely high-end project in Bangkok,” said Thanawan.
Situated on Ratchadamri Road between the Grand
Hyatt Erawan Hotel and Peninsula Plaza, Magnolias Ratchadamri
Boulevard lies in the heart of Bangkok’s business district,
offering simple access to renowned restaurants and world famous
malls.
