Bombardier Aerospace has signed a five-year
agreement under its Q400 Smart Parts program with Eurolot S.A. of
Warsaw, Poland.
Following the first delivery of Eurolot’s Q400
NextGen aircraft last mont, the parties finalized a Smart Parts
agreement which will provide Eurolot with advanced
component exchange and repair costs for its fleet of Q400 NextGen
turboprop airliners from entry-into-service through to 2017.
As part of its fleet renewal and route expansion
program, Eurolot ordered eight Q400 NextGen airliners from
Bombardier and holds options on another twelve, making it the first
operator of Q400 airliners in Poland.
“Bombardier’s Smart Parts program will
help support the operational efficiency of our Q400 NextGen
airliners as we embark on an accelerated expansion program in the
region,” said Bartlomiej Matusewicz, Vice President, Operations & Technical, Eurolot S.A. “We look forward to the enhanced cost
predictability that the program offers as well as service levels
offered by Bombardier.”
Eurolot began operations in
July 1997.
