New Hotel Manager @ Langham, Xintiandi, Shanghai

The Langham, Xintiandi, Shanghai has appointed Mr Hans Schaepman as Hotel Manager.

Mr Schaepman is an experienced hotel professional, with more than 26 years in the hospitality industry and has extensive knowledge in food and beverage operations and hotel management. He now brings these skills to his new role as Hotel Manager for Langham Hospitality Group’s new flagship hotel in China – The Langham, Xintiandi, Shanghai.

Originally from The Netherlands, Hans has an impressive international career having worked in many high profile luxury hotels throughout Australia, Egypt, United Kingdom and the USA.

Prior to his role here in Shanghai, Hans worked for The Langham, Boston, USA as Hotel Manager for just over three years as well as The Langham, Pasadena, USA as Executive Assistant Manager, Rooms Division.

During that time he developed a proven track record implementing innovative and effective business development strategies. These included many new Quality Assurance initiatives which helped moved guest satisfaction scores for the hotel to 1st place within Langham Hospitality Group for two consecutive years.

In his role as Hotel Manager for The Langham, Xintiandi, he will oversee the hotel operations including rooms, food and beverage and Chuan Spa.
