Dominique Berhouet Appointed GM of Two New Hotels in Hong Kong

Dominique Berhouet has been appointed as General Manager of the Crowne Plaza Hong Kong Kowloon East and Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong Kowloon East. The two hotels are scheduled to open Q4 2012.

Dominique joined InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) in 1999 and has been responsible for launching and rebranding a number of properties. He most recently was the opening General Manager of Crowne Plaza Guangzhou City Centre.

Dominique has over 30 years of hotel management experience in luxury properties across US, Europe, Hong Kong and Mainland China.

The Hotels

The Crowne Plaza Hong Kong Kowloon East will feature 359 rooms. Dining choices range from the all day dining buffet restaurant to Cantonese dining and an Italian restaurant on the top floor. The pillarless Grand Ballroom is one of the largest in Hong Kong with a 6.75-meter high ceiling, in addition to 8 function rooms, provide a total of 2,400 square meters of event space. Other facilities include a lobby lounge, wedding garden, sky garden, fitness centre, spa with seven private garden bungalows and a 30-meter outdoor swimming pool.

The Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong Kowloon East will feature 300 rooms, offering complimentary breakfast and high speed internet access for all guests.

Both hotels are located atop Tseung Kwan O MTR station and PopCorn shopping mall, providing an easy starting point to travel freely around the city. The hotels are  also just minutes drive from many of Hong Kong’s famed shopping and leisure venues, 20 minutes from Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) and a short 45-minute drive from Hong Kong International Airport.
