Thanyapura, a Phuket-based hospitality and
sports group, has appointed Mr Robert C. Hauck, as Group President
of its hotel and sport facilities. The appointment is effective 1
September 2011.
Prior to his most recent role as General
Manager at the Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor in
Cambodia, Mr Hauck held management positions at renowned luxury
hotels across Asia Pacific, including Shangri-La’s Far Eastern
Plaza Hotel, Taipei, Island Shangri-La Hong Kong, Mandarin
Oriental Kuala Lumpur and Pudong Shangri-La in Shanghai.

Mr Hauck said. “Thanyapura offers a remarkable range of
