Wyn Li Joins Metrojet as Director of Marketing and Client Relations

Metrojet has appointed Wyn Li as Director of Marketing and Client Relations.

Mr. Li will be responsible for the marketing, client relationships, sales, public relations and the commercial activities of the company.

Mr. Li has more than 20 years of marketing and sales experience in the aviation and hospitality industry. Prior to joining Metrojet, he was Country Director - Hong Kong and SE Asia for Continental Airlines, General Manager – Hong Kong Sales for United Airlines, and Asia Regional Marketing Manager for United Airlines. Previous to these positions, he was the Manager, Loyal Marketing of Singapore Airlines managing the airline’s frequent flyer program in the carrier’s head office.

Mr. Li’s experience also includes the position of Sales and Marketing Manager of Australia and New Zealand for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines based in Sydney; and in the same capacity for China, Hong Kong and Macau region based in Hong Kong.

Before joining the airline industry, Mr. Li held various marketing management positions at the Australian Tourist Commission for the Asian region. Mr. Li started his career as an hotelier with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, worked for a number of Hyatt properties in operations and marketing.

Mr. Li holds a Master of Science degree from Purdue University, Indiana, USA and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from University of Hawaii, USA. To nurture future management and marketing talents for the industry, he frequently conducts lectures for universities in the areas of marketing, tourism and hospitality areas.
