IHG has opened its second Crowne Plaza hotel in
Vietnam.
Located along the Danang coastline, the
535-guestroom Crowne Plaza Danang, one of the largest hotels in
Central Vietnam, is located just 15 minutes away from the Danang
international airport and only a few kilometers to the heart of
the city’s most popular attractions. These include UNESCO World
Heritage sites such as the former imperial city, Hue and the
scenic Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park.
Crowne Plaza Danang was rebranded from the
former Silver Shores International Resort.
Large guest rooms with minimum
size of 36 square meters overlook the ocean on one side and Danang city on the other. The main lobby, function rooms,
restaurant, bars and service areas occupy two and three storey
pavilions surrounded by a spacious swimming pool and tropical
gardens.
The hotel offers visitors and families coming to Danang a
variety of recreation facilities, including water sports and a
dedicated Kids Club. Its restaurants and bars offer a wide variety
of culinary options, including Cantonese, Japanese, Korean and
international cuisines.
The newly rebranded hotel, with its 2,500 square meters of meeting
space is also well positioned to cater to the requirements of the fast-growing MICE sector.
“Vietnam has seen a steady increase in
international and regional visitors, at a growth rate of about 10% year-on-year. A strong tourism market plus a booming MICE
segment gives us incredible confidence in growing and developing
our presence here,” said Alan Watts, vice president of operations
for Southeast Asia in IHG.
The Crowne Plaza Danang is the group’s fifth
property in Vietnam.
An introductory
offer from US$125, for stay at Crowne Plaza Danang, is now
available for reservations.
William Lau is the General Manager of the Crowne Plaza Danang.
