Turkish Airlines has established its own sales
and marketing office in Thailand after operating under a General
Sales Agent (GSA) for some 22 years.
Mr Kerrar Yuksel, Director
for Thailand and Cambodia of Turkish Airlines, said “As part of
the Groups global strategic plans, Turkish Airlines Thailand
office has terminated the services of its General Sales Agent
(GSA), Gulf Express Transport Agency. We have gone
from strength to strength with Gulf Express Transport Agency and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for
their hard work and contribution to build Turkish Airlines to
where it is today in the Thai market.”
From Thailand, Turkish Airlines
currently operates 11 flights to and from Istanbul with onward
connecting flights either within Turkey or other destinations
around the world.
The airline also operates daily flights to
Ho Chi Minh city in Vietnam.
From October the airline will operate a
Boeing 777 with Comfort Class seats on its TK69 flight offering
the opportunity for customers to travel in more comfort.
The airline is also planning to go to double
daily flights to and from Istanbul later this year.
