EgyptAir is to resume flights to the Malaysian
capital city, Kuala Lumpur, on 1 August 2011. The airline
temporarily suspending the route on 25 January 2011.
“EgyptAir has taken the decision
flying to Kuala Lumpur via Bangkok on a daily basis onboard the
newest Boeing 777-300ER,” said Captain Ayman Nasr, EgyptAir,
Chairman & CEO. “The Far East in general and Kuala Lumpur
in specific is one of the competitive markets in which we need to
attract more customers. Moreover, our new developed services
onboard the Boeing 777-300ER in addition to other marketing promotions
we provide such as the new baggage allowance and the flexible
pricing tool will help us to regain our position in this market.”
All classes on the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft provide personal
screens in the back of each seat which enable the customers to
select from hundreds of entertainment programs.
