The InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong
has appointed Carroll Chu as Director of Human Resources.
With more than 20 years of experience in the
field of human resources, Carroll has worked for a number of
prestigious five-star hotels and renowned banking groups in Hong
Kong.
She started her hospitality career in 1990 as
the Training Officer at Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong. At a later
stage, she entered the banking sector to take up the role of
Assistant Vice President in Training overseeing all training
activities on service, sales and quality management for the global
consumer group in Citibank.
Prior to joining the InterContinental Grand
Stanford Hong Kong, Carroll worked at the Island Shangri-La Hong
Kong as the Training Manager and was awarded as the ‘Trainer of
the Year’ by Hong Kong Management Association in 2007.
Carroll holds a Bachelor Degree in Philosophy
from University of Birmingham in England and a postgraduate
diploma in Hospitality Management from Domino Carlton Tivoli Hotel
Management Institution in Switzerland.
