Tickets for the 2012 Cathay Pacific / HSBC Hong Kong Sevens will go on sale in January 2012.

After an initial pre-sale period to local Rugby Clubs, Hong Kong Rugby Football Union (HKRFU) Stakeholders and official Overseas Ticketing Agents the HKRFU will stage a public sale in mid-January.

The price of a three-day adult event ticket for 2012 will be HK$1,500. Children’s tickets prices have been reduced by 50% to HK$150 for youth aged 12 and under.

Trevor Gregory, Chairman of the HKRFU, said, “The HKRFU expects very strong demand for Sevens tickets in 2012 and like rugby fans around the world we look forward to another outstanding Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens next March. As always, the preferred way to get your Sevens tickets is to be actively involved as a player or supporter in one of Hong Kong’s many rugby clubs.”

Overseas fans do not have to wait, they can now purchase tickets through 12 appointed Official Travel Agents or through Cathay Pacific Airways, the co-title sponsor and official airline of the Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens.

Cathay Pacific and the Official Travel Agents offer a variety of packages including event tickets, travel and accommodation.

The Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens 2012 will be held from 23 - 25 March 2012 at the Hong Kong Stadium. Hotels close to the stadium should be booked well in advance to avoid any disappointment.
