Air Tahiti Nui has appointed Lisa Dosanjh as
Business Development Manager Australia, based in Sydney.
Effective
immediately, Lisa will be responsible for leisure and group sales
for the airline, which currently offers two weekly codeshare
services from Sydney to Papeete, via Auckland, and interline
connections from both Melbourne and Brisbane.
Lisa’s airline experience includes both
operations and sales roles with carriers including Air New
Zealand, Continental Airlines, American Airlines, Garuda
Indonesia, Alitalia, Japan Air Lines and, most recently, Virgin
Atlantic, where she was responsible for leisure, MICE, government
and e-business account development, and won a company Hero’s Award
for sales achievements.
“Australia is showing encouraging
growth for us, but has significant potential for even greater
results, not only in the leisure segment but also for groups,”
said Mark Hutchinson, Regional Director Australasia for Air Tahiti
Nui. “Lisa comes to Air Tahiti Nui with considerable airline
experience and great relationships throughout the travel industry,
and will play a valuable and much-needed role not only in
increasing business from current sources in Australia but in
generating new partnerships and sales opportunities.”
