CHI Hotels & Resorts has appointed James Farrow
as senior vice president of sales across its portfolio of managed
hotels under the Corinthia, Wyndham and Ramada Plaza brands
worldwide. This includes the company’s newly opened flagship
Corinthia Hotel in Whitehall Place, London.
James Farrow joins the senior executive
management group at CHI, reporting directly to CHI chief executive
officer and managing director Tony Potter.
From his base in
London, James will direct and oversee the company’s entire sales
operation, including the monitoring of individual hotels’ sales
forces and the direct management of a nucleus of internationally
established regional sales offices in strategic locations throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
James’ career with Hilton and
its owning company spread over 23 years, during which time he
gained first class expertise in managing a broad range of sales
forces across the Hilton brands. Prior to James’ senior positions
in sales, he was also a distinguished and experienced general
manager with various companies including Quality International
Hotels and the Prince of Wales Group.
