The Sukhothai Bangkok has appointed the highly
respected Pattama Yoshimura as Hotel Manager.
Pattama is a not only highly regarded within the
industry for her
excellent management skills, but also for her positive attitude,
creativity and vision.
She is also one of the very few Thai women
to have been appointed General Manager of an hotel by a major
international hotel company, making her one of the most successful
Thai women within the industry.
Pattama
graduated with a Bachelors Degree of Arts in Travel Industry
Management from Mahidol University International College and
started her career at the Shangri-La Hotel Bangkok.
In 2001, she
joined the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit as Assistant Manager and was
promoted to Front Office Manager.
Eventually, her career
direction took her to Phuket where she obtained an executive
position at Le Royal Meridian Phuket Yacht Club as Director of
Rooms responsible for Front Office Operations, Housekeeping and
Revenue Management.
A position as Director of Rooms at
the InterContinental Bangkok lured Pattama back to Bangkok in 2007.
After two years at that hotel, she was promoted to Executive
Assistant Manager before moving to the very impressive InterContinental Hua Hin Resort
as General Manager.
