The Mantra Samui Resort and Spa, a member of
Great Hotels of the World Luxury Collection, has opened following
a three and a half year development at a cost of roughly US$20
million.
Mantra Samui Resort and Spa comprises 74 rooms,
including The Wow, The Love, The Cosy and The Grand, all with
views of Koh Samui’s northern coast.
The Love rooms are specially tailored for
couples and honeymooners and feature private jacuzzis on the
terrace, while The Grand rooms are more ideally suited to families
as they offer over 100sqm of space.
Facilities at the Mantra Samui
include a fully equipped fitness centre and juice bar, a movie
theatre which can be booked for private screenings and a Salt Yoga
Studio built from Himalayan salt bricks.
The resort also features an outdoor infinity pool
with built-in sun beds, a complimentary shuttle service to the
nearby beach and a Splendid Spa with treatments such as classic
Thai massage, four-hand massage and herbal and fruit body wraps.
There are two restaurants onsite including the Ubuntu restaurant,
serving international cuisine and
traditional Thai dishes, and Damma Dining, a unique dining
experience which is limited to just twelve people per night.
Every
room at the Mantra Samui comes complete with a computer and complimentary
WiFi access.
The resort can also provide specialised secretarial services and
boasts meeting rooms, all with natural daylight, catering for up
to 30 people. The resort can cater weddings for up to 60 people.

The Mantra Samui is located on a hill just five
minutes by car from Bo Phut beach. The resort provides
complimentary shuttle to Bo Phut where hotel staff can provide
guests with towels.
