Passengers travelling from Australia to Los
Angeles, Paris or Tokyo have an additional three months to take
advantage of Air Tahiti Nui’s $1 stopover deal, which is now valid
for sale until 31 August 2010.
Part of the 2010 Tahiti Tiare stopover package programme, the
$1 offer is per person, twin share, and applies to the first night
stay at Le Meridien Tahiti in a Lagoon or Garden View Room -
additional nights can be purchased from $139 per person, twin
share.
Packages are also available at the Sofitel Tahiti
Resort and Hilton Hotel Tahiti from $110, the InterContinental
Resort Tahiti and Radisson Plaza Resort Tahiti from $115, Manava
Suite Resort Tahiti from $125, Moorea Pearl Resort and Spa from
$160, and InterContinental Resort and Spa Moorea from $175.
Prices are per night based on twin-share accommodation, and a
maximum four night stay applies at these rates. Local city tax of
150 French Polynesian Francs (approximately A$2) per person, per
night, is not included except for the Intercontinental Resort
Tahiti.
Return hotel transfers can be purchased for an
additional $50 for stays on the island of Tahiti, and $135 for
Moorea, which includes boat transfers.
Stopover packages
are available for travel until 31 December 2010 and can only be
purchased with an Air Tahiti Nui ticket originating in Australia
to a destination beyond French Polynesia.
“Tahiti has always been an
enticing destination, but now with the $1 deal we are experiencing
an increase in stopover passengers,” said Craig Lee, Regional
Director for Air Tahiti Nui in Australia. “With such a great
destination and such an amazing deal- why wouldn’t you stay!”
