Silversea is offering special fares and air
credits on six voyages of 7 to 12 days in May and June 2010,
taking in the pristine wilderness of Alaska and the Pacific Coast
from the all-suite Silver Shadow, a luxury vessel small enough to
explore destinations that larger cruise ships cannot reach.
The itineraries feature round-trip or open-jaw
departures from Los Angeles, USA; Vancouver, Canada, and Seward,
Alaska, allowing just 382 guests to experience this spectacular
landscape of glaciers, rugged mountains, ancient forests and
abundant wildlife.
All-inclusive cruise-only fares
start from US$3,038 per person, double occupancy, for a seven day
voyage from Seward to Vancouver departing 10 June 2010. During the
sailing, the Silver Shadow will take in the majestic Hubbard and
Sawyer Glaciers, cruise the Inside Passage, and visit historic
Alaskan ports such as Skagway, Juneau, Sitka and Ketchikan.
Silverseas fare includes an air credit of
US$400; butler service in all suites; gourmet dining in a choice
of restaurants; complimentary fine wines, spirits and champagnes,
and an enrichment programme with fascinating onboard lecturers
such as eminent historian Patrick Allitt, who will talk about the
history behind the long and complicated relationship between
Britain and the United States.
