Bangkok Airways (PG) and EVA Air (BR) have
jointly signed a codeshare agreement for services from Amsterdam,
Vienna, London (Heathrow) and Taipei to Thailand’s key
destinations, Koh Samui, Phuket and Chiang Mai. The agreement
comes into effect in March 2010. EVA will operate the
international flights and Bangkok Air will handle the domestic
service.
As soon as the codeshare routes
are activated, EVA Air passengers traveling to/from Amsterdam,
Vienna, London and Taipei will enjoy smooth transit through
Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport and onward to Koh Samui, Phuket and
Chiang Mai within the minimum connecting time of one hour. Bangkok
Airways’ Boutique Lounge is available to passengers traveling in
economy class and the Blue Ribbon Club is designed for those in
business class.
