eRevMax, a specialist in online distribution and
channel management software for the hospitality industry, has
appointed Michael McCartan as the company’s new Chief Operating
Officer.
Formerly VP Product Management at Pegasus Solutions,
Michael joins the eRevMax team to oversee the daily operations of
the RateTiger and Simple Distribution brands.
The Division
Presidents of RTSuite (Keith Povah), RTCorp (Keith Watson) and
RTConnect (Ragnar Strerath) will report directly into Michael, to
give CEO Sascha Hausmann more time to focus on strategic
development and acquisitions.
A specialist in software product management, business
development, technical pre/post-sales and overall project
management, Michael has over 12 years experience in the
hospitality industry. At Pegasus Solutions he was responsible for
the development and management of all distribution services
including the UltraDirect, UltraSwitch and Online Distribution
Database (ODD).

who will be based in eRevMax’s operational headquarters in London.
Jorge Valverde Rico has been appointed Project
Manager – RTConnect, the companies two-way XML gateway. Jorge will
lead connectivity integration projects for large hotel chains,
PMS, CRS and RMS companies. Jorge joins the eRevMax with
experience as a Global Implementation Manager for Lufthansa AirPlus responsible for creating the company’s billing system,
TAMARA, monitoring dataflow, technical feasibilities, standards
management and product development.
In 2011,
eRevMax will be also further expand RTConnect. As part of this
initiative the company has hired John Seaton, formerly of Pegasus
Solutions and HBSi, and Giles Gurney previously Senior Sales
Manager of Xotels. Both will be helping in taking the product to market.
The company is also tapping further into
the south east European market by appointing
Lilian Stjepanovic as
sales representative for the region. She will help to manage
increased demand for channel management technologies in the
territory.
