The Rezidor Hotel Group has taken over the
management of the Hotel Rezydent in Sopot, Poland.
The property
featuring 64 rooms is under common ownership with the nearby
Radisson Blu Hotel, Gdansk, and will keep its former name.
Besides 64 guest rooms, Hotel Rezydent offers an
all-day-dining restaurant, 1 meeting room and a small spa. It is
located within walking distance of the beach: Sopot is a popular

Art-Nouveau buildings, many of which were built during the pre-war
era when Sopot was a fashionable German resort. Today, in addition
to beaches, the city includes a boardwalk, numerous
museums, and one of Europes longest wooden piers which stretches over 500
meters into the Baltic Sea.
Poland is one of Rezidors key
development markets in Eastern Europe, where both of the companys
core brands Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson enjoy an
excellent reputation. The groups portfolio across the country
currently comprises 8 hotels with a total of 1,594 rooms in
operation and under development.
