AirAsia is preparing to launch direct flights
between Denpasar, Bali, and Phuket in Thailand, giving travelers
direct access from one paradise destination to another.
Commencing
17 December 2010, AirAsia will operate the new route four times a
week every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
To
celebrate the launch of the new destination, AirAsia has priced
their new flights at IDR249,000 per way (not inclusive of airport
tax) for travel between 17 December 2010 and 10 November 2011.
The special fare of IDR249,000
is per way, valid only for bookings made before 18 November 2010.
Recent statistics
project that foreign visitors to Bali will end 2010 with
2.48 million foreign visitors with Australian travelers emerging as
Bali’s top source of visitors followed by Japan, China, Taiwan and
Malaysia in the top five visiting arrivals by country to Bali.
Phuket is fast becoming a major international
hub, with Qatar Airlines having also just launched
flights between Phuket and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia (see:
