MakeMyTrip acquires Ticketvala.com to Strengthen Online Bus Booking Services

MakeMyTrip, a leader in the Indian online travel space, has acquired Ticketvala.com, one of India’s largest online bus ticket platforms, operated by Travis Internet Pvt. Ltd.

 As a part of the acquisition, MakeMyTrip has acquired strategic assets from Ticketvala including website, URL, technology platform agent network, and bus inventory.

Elaborating on this strategic initiative, Deep Kalra, Founder & CEO, MakeMyTrip said, “We were the first full service OTA to launch online bus ticketing in India and currently offer one of the largest bus inventory in the country with over 8,000 buses, 500 bus operators, and over 5000 routes across 14 states in the country.
