Rezidor Opens its First Hotel in Spain

Rezidor has opened its first hotel in the Spanish Capital Madrid. The 54-room Radisson Blu Hotel, Madrid Prado is located just across from the Prado Museum adjacent to the new Caixa-Forum cultural centre. Many more of Madrid’s top attractions are within walking distance, including the Thyssen Bornemisza Museum and the Reina Sofia Museum. A wealth of luxury shopping awaits guests on the nearby Gran Via while Madrid’s famous nightlife kicks off just beyond the hotel’s doors.

The hotel’s 54 rooms were designed by Sandra Taruella and Isabel Lopez and are all equipped with state of the art high tech amenities such as free high-speed internet access.

After a day of sightseeing or meetings, guests can relax and refresh all their senses at the hotel’s spa which, with its minimalist design, offers pampering treatments, an indoor pool, a steam room, a relaxation and fitness area.

The hotel’s specialty grill “The Cask” – with its great choice of perfectly cooked prime cuts – aims to become one of the hottest haunts in the Spanish capital – along with the exclusive lounge bar with a selection of cocktails and Spanish “tapas” with a modern twist. The highly contemporary restaurant also offers a selection of vegetarian options. The impressive Whiskey Bar features over 20 references of the best single malts, and is situated in the main courtyard of the building with its impressive glass walls and views of the skyline of Madrid.

The Radisson Blu Hotel, Madrid Prado offers a contemporary conference area measuring 43 square meters. This space can be divided into 3 separate boardrooms - or combined to incorporate the built-in bar area - increasing the size to 89 square meters. Free high-speed internet access is available to all meeting delegates.
