ITB Asia
online registration has opened, giving
exhibitors who book early the chance to take prime show floor locations. Exhibitors
who register on or before 26 March 2010 will be eligible for a 15%
discount on exhibition space. ITB Asia, which positions itself as
“the Trade Show for the Asian Travel Market” takes place 20-22
October in Singapore.
Small and medium-sized tourism enterprises are
again being offered a special exhibition rate of US$999.
Apart from the leisure and corporate travel, ITB Asia 2010
will feature a dedicated MICE day. Experts will analyze the latest
trends and products in the MICE sector.
The main
feature of ITB Asia will again be the variety of global travel
products that its exhibitors present to the Asian travel market.
Messe Berlin (Singapore) expects exhibitors such as destinations,
airlines, airports, hotels, resorts, theme parks, attractions,
inbound tour operators, inbound DMCs, cruise lines, spas, venues,
meeting facilities and travel technology companies all to attend
in large numbers.
The show organizer, Messe Berlin (Singapore),
says that economies in Asia are leading the world’s economic
recovery and that demand for travel is coming back strong.
“All the indicators are demand for travel is rebounding
quickly in Asia,” said Nino Gruettke, Executive Director of ITB
Asia. “We’re experiencing robust early demand for the third ITB
Asia. Early movers who book space now will benefit from a prime
location and save costs.”
Easy access and efficient
logistics are key to the organisation of ITB Asia. “We are
delighted to continue ITB Asia’s unique partnership with
Singapore,” said Dr Martin Buck, Director of Messe Berlin
(Singapore). “Holding ITB Asia in Singapore makes it easy for
visitors to get there and get down to business in an efficient,
no-hassle manner. Having thousands of good hotel rooms within 10
minutes walking distance of Suntec is an ideal set-up.”
ITB Asia 2010 will take place at the Suntec
Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
