In the build up to the 2009 Hong Kong Rugby Sevens which was
held between 27-29 March,
Tickets for the 2009 HK Sevens went on sale at 10am on 17 January
2009 and were
Sold Out within 2 Hours. The
draw for the
2009 Hong Kong Sevens promises some Legendary Match-ups
and it did not disappoint.
The first day, in a rather wet Hong Kong, had no upsets with
all the favourite teams gaining victories. See
No Upsets on First Day of Hong Kong Sevens, however it is
Saturday when the real fun begins, so do check the results
from the
Hong Kong Sevens Days 2 and see who progressed into the Plate,
Cup and Bowl championships. The
Final Day of the Hong Kong Sevens was a mammoth day of rugby.
It did not rain as had been forecast, and was actually quite cool
by Hong Kong standards, which created the perfect conditions for a
day of rugby.
