The 392-room Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas is to open its
doors on 4 December 2009, and to celebrate, the hotel
has launched an introductory promotion.
Valid through 28 February 2010, the promotion
provides one night of complimentary accommodation in conjunction
with one or more consecutive paid nights of stay. Rates start at
US$545 and reservations are subject to availability.
The Mandarin
Oriental, Las Vegas will be one of the only free-standing, non-gaming
luxury properties on the Las Vegas Strip. Standing at the gateway of CityCenter, MGM MIRAGEs new urban resort destination opening
later this year, the hotel and residences have been designed by award-winning architectural firm
Kohn Pedersen Fox, with contemporary interior design by Adam D. Tihany.
Easily accessible, just a
10-minute drive from the McCarran International Airport, the
propertys 23rd floor Sky Lobby will have views of The
Strip and a sky bridge to Crystals, CityCenters
500,000-square-foot retail district.
Every guestroom and
suite at the Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas will be equipped with
state-of-the-art, technology and cutting-edge entertainment
systems. Three lavish presidential suites will sit at the height
of luxury on the hotels top floors, each measuring over 3,200
square feet and offering panoramic views of CityCenter, The Strip
and the surrounding desert mountains.
The two-level,
27,000-square-foot Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas will offer a wide range of holistic and
rejuvenating services. With 17 treatment areas, including seven
couples suites and three VIP suites, the Spa will also feature
multiple relaxation and water experiences, an expansive Fitness
Center, yoga studio and a magnificent pool facility with 20
cabanas. The Poolside Caf will serve fresh cuisine to further
enhance the holistic experience.
A selection of gourmet
dining and cocktail venues will be offered on property, including
the hotels signature restaurant, Twist, where award-winning Chef
Pierre Gagnaire will infuse the simplicity of classic French
cuisine with a modern spin. Located off the 23rd floor Sky Lobby,
Twist will offer expansive city views from floor-to-ceiling
windows. Situated adjacent to the Sky Lobby, The Mandarin Bar will
offer a vibrant ambiance for cocktails. Mozen Bistro, an all-day
contemporary kitchen, will serve authentic Asian dishes and
multi-national fare, while the Tea Lounge will be a scenic meeting
place with an extensive menu of teas. At street-level lining Las
Vegas Boulevard, Amore Patisserie will serve a variety of gourmet
pastries, cakes, sandwiches, coffee, teas and hand-made gelato to
passing guests and visitors.
The hotel will offer 12,000 square feet of
dedicated MICE space. The 7,650-square-foot
Oriental Ballroom, will offer views
of The Strip, while three smaller venues, The Mandarin Boardroom,
The Lotus Room and The Jade Room will offer a more
intimate space for smaller gatherings. All of the hotels function
spaces will be equipped with technologically advanced amenities
including live broadcast capabilities.
