GHM has decided to terminate its
management contract with The Andaman, Langkawi. GHM, which has
been operating the resort since it opened in 2002, will cease
management on 9 December 2009.
A golfers’ paradise, the resort
located on the Malaysian island of Langkawi, just off the west
coast of the peninsula, has proved popular due to views of
the rainforest, the mountains and the Andaman Sea.
GHM also currently operates The Datai in Langkawi
which was GHM’s first property opening in October 1993.
The current GHM portfolio includes
world renowned resorts such as The Setai in Miami, The Nam Hai in
Vietnam, The Legian in Bali, The Strand in Yangon, as well as The
Chedi hotels in Muscat, Bali and Chiang Mai.
