Executive Sales Appointments at Laguna Nusa Dua, Bali

Mr. Andrew Fairbairn has been appointed as the new Director of Sales & Marketing at the The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua, Bali. Mr. Wayan Suwastana has been appointed as Director of Sales – Leisure.

Andrew commenced his career with Starwood Hotels & Resorts at the Sheraton Noosa Resort & Spa in Queensland, Australia prior to three years leading the sales team at the Sheraton & Westin Resorts Fiji including the newly refurbished Sheraton Fiji Resort, Westin Denarau Island Resort & Spa and Sheraton Denarau Villas before joining The Laguna Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua, Bali.

He has a wealth of experience in the account management of the wholesale/FIT & MICE markets, also with a proven record in marketing, PR and revenue management.

Andrew has enjoyed an active role within the region's ever evolving travel & hospitality industry. He will play a crucial role in leading the Sales & Marketing team at The Laguna Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua, Bali reporting directly to General Manager, Mr. David Cuddon.

An Australian national, Andrew holds Bachelor of Business majoring in Marketing from University of the Sunshine Coast, Australia and additional Diploma of Market Research from Market Research Society of Australia.

Wayan Suwastana joins the team from within Starwood Hotels & Resorts including Le Meridien Nirwana Golf & Spa Resort Bali and most recently the Sheraton Bandara Hotel Jakarta. In Wayan’s role as Director of Sales - Leisure he will lead the sales efforts within the FIT & Wholesale markets and will report directly to Mr. Andrew Fairbairn, Director of Sales & Marketing.

An Indonesian national and originally from Bali, Wayan enjoys in exploring the beauty of the island of Bali and spends a time to playing golf in his leisure time.
