WTTC Extends Tourism for Tomorrow Awards Deadline

The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has extended the deadline for the Tourism for Tomorrow Awards 2010 entries, co-sponsored by Travelport and The Leading Travel Companies’ Conservation Foundation, until Monday 14 December 2009.

The WTTC’s annual Global Travel & Tourism Summit will be held from 25-27 May 2010 in Beijing, China, and as the Tourism for Tomorrow Awards have been an integral part of the Summit for the past five years and, as the Summit dates next year are later than usual, this has allowed the WTTC to extend the awards deadline.

The awards are determined in four categories: Destination Stewardship, Conservation, Community Benefit and Global Tourism Business.
