The Conrad Centennial Singapore has partnered
the Singapore Red Cross Society for the third consecutive year in
a new Conrad Teddy Bear Christmas Tree charity drive which will
run from 29 November to 31 December 2009.
For a nominal fee of Sin$5 per ticket,
participants are entitled to guess the number of Conrad teddy
bears on the Christmas tree and the top five closest entries will
stand a chance to win prizes that include two nights
weekend stay in the Conrad Bali as well as one night weekend stay
at the Conrad
Centennial Singapore.
Participants will also receive a complimentary
Conrad teddy bear as a memento. All proceeds will be donated to
the Singapore Red Cross Society.
The programme was first introduced in December
2007, with the aim to promote the spirit of giving and sharing
during the holiday season and encourage guests, team members of
the hotel as well as the general public to do their part for
charity by donating generously to those in need.
One of the main
highlights of the programme is the popular Conrad Christmas tree
which stands at 16 feet and adorned with signature Conrad teddy
bears in the hotel grand lobby.
Tickets can be purchased from the
Concierge desk located in the lobby. For those who wish to do more
for charity can do so by contributing generously to the Singapore
Red Cross donation boxes located at the Front Desk. The draw will
be conducted on 4 January 2010 and winners will be notified by
post.
